Torino Defender Coco Sets Sights on AC Milan Opener: Time to Cause Problems for Everyone

FolioPitch.com – 11 August 2026 | As the new Serie A season approaches, Torino defender Saúl Coco has been making headlines with his bold statements about the upcoming opener against AC Milan. Coco, a key player for the Granata, has warned the Rossoneri that his team is well-prepared and ready to cause problems for everyone in the league. In a recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Coco expressed his excitement and positivity about the team’s summer preparations and the new coaching style of Ignazio Abate.

Under Abate’s leadership, Coco believes that Torino will adopt a more aggressive approach to the game, focusing on finding the opponent higher up the pitch rather than defending deep. This change in strategy is something that Coco is particularly excited about, as it adds to the team’s personality and allows them to express themselves on the field.

Coco also emphasized the importance of improving the team’s ability to understand the moment of the game, as well as their ability to defend with the ball. He noted that defense is not just about preventing the opponent from scoring, but also about maintaining possession and controlling the tempo of the game.

When asked about Abate’s coaching style, Coco praised his energy and ability to connect with the players. He described Abate as a coach who is very close to his players, always working hard to improve their psychological well-being and team dynamics.

As the Granata prepare to take on Milan in the opening game of the season, Coco’s statements have sparked excitement among fans and pundits alike. Will Torino be able to cause problems for everyone in the league, as Coco predicts? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain – the Granata are ready to give it their all and make a strong statement in the new season.

In conclusion, the upcoming opener between Torino and AC Milan promises to be an exciting match, with both teams eager to make a strong impression. As Coco has said, Torino is ready to cause problems for everyone in the league, and fans can expect a thrilling contest.
