Torino Interest for Talent from Celtic, RB Salzburg, and Crystal Palace: A Summer of Transfer Speculation

FolioPitch.com – 12 August 2026 | The Torino interest for talent from Celtic, RB Salzburg, and Crystal Palace has been making headlines in recent weeks, with several top players from these clubs being linked to the Italian side. The Granata are reportedly in talks with RB Salzburg to sell both Celtic target Gvidas Gineitis and Alieu Njie, who is also of interest to Crystal Palace. This move is part of a larger effort by Torino to field several proposals for their players from around Europe this summer and sell for the right price.

Among the most popular starlets being considered is midfielder Gineitis, who at the age of 22 already has a remarkable 32 senior caps for Lithuania under his belt. The Torino interest for talent from Celtic, RB Salzburg, and Crystal Palace is strong, with Celtic having been pushing for a while, but now Sky Sport Italia notes that RB Salzburg are stepping up the pressure. The asking price for Gineitis remains a minimum of €8m, a big profit considering he joined their youth academy from Italian team SPAL in January 2022.

There is another reason why RB Salzburg might be favorites ahead of Celtic, and that is they are ready to do a double deal for his Torino teammate Njie. The 21-year-old attacking winger had also been approached by Crystal Palace this summer, with interest too from RSC Anderlecht. Njie has been in the Torino academy since 2021, suffered a serious injury last year, and now has 31 Serie A appearances for the club. The Torino interest for talent from Celtic, RB Salzburg, and Crystal Palace is a clear indication of the club’s desire to strengthen its squad and make a push for top honors in the coming season.

Defender Rafa Obrador spent the last six months at Toro on loan from Benfica, but it was not made permanent. He is now set for a return to Serie A with Sassuolo, claims Fabrizio Romano, on loan with an option to buy for €7m. The Torino interest for talent from Celtic, RB Salzburg, and Crystal Palace is a testament to the club’s ambition and willingness to invest in top talent. As the summer transfer window heats up, it will be interesting to see how these deals play out and what other moves Torino makes to strengthen its squad.

The Torino interest for talent from Celtic, RB Salzburg, and Crystal Palace is not limited to these players alone. The club is reportedly looking to make several other signings in the coming weeks, with a focus on strengthening its defense and midfield. With the new season just around the corner, Torino will be looking to make a strong start and challenge for a top-four finish in Serie A. The Torino interest for talent from Celtic, RB Salzburg, and Crystal Palace is a key part of this strategy, and it will be exciting to see how these new signings perform in the coming months.

In conclusion, the Torino interest for talent from Celtic, RB Salzburg, and Crystal Palace is a clear indication of the club’s ambition and desire to succeed at the highest level. With several top players being linked to the club, it will be interesting to see how these deals play out and what other moves Torino makes in the coming weeks.
