Rabiot’s Agent Puts Milan Fears to Rest: Summer Exit Not on the Horizon

FolioPitch.com – 13 July 2026 | In a much-needed reassurance for AC Milan, CorSport Rabiot s agent and mother calms Milan as summer exit isn t planned, dispelling recent rumors linking the French midfielder with a move away from San Siro. The report, from Corriere dello Sport, highlights that despite speculation following Massimiliano Allegri‘s departure, Adrien Rabiot‘s representative—his mother, Veronique Rabiot—has firmly stated that leaving the Rossoneri is not on the agenda for this summer.

Rabiot was a cornerstone of Milan’s 2025-26 campaign, thriving under Allegri’s guidance. However, even with the manager’s exit, the club views him as indispensable. Incoming coach Ruben Amorim is reportedly eager to work with the 30-year-old, seeing him as a pivotal piece in his tactical setup—similar to the role Rabiot currently occupies for the French national team during the World Cup.

The midfielder has been instrumental for France, helping them reach the semifinals after a victory over Morocco. Alongside teammate Mike Maignan, Rabiot has a realistic shot at lifting the trophy, though the path to the final remains challenging. His focus, therefore, remains squarely on international duty rather than transfer negotiations.

According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Veronique Rabiot has communicated directly with Milan officials to allay any concerns. The message is clear: Rabiot is fully committed to the club, and any talk of a summer departure is premature.

Once the World Cup concludes, Rabiot intends to take a well-earned vacation before reporting back to Milanello for preseason training. This timeline leaves little room for transfer drama, as both player and agent prioritize rest and preparation for the upcoming season. For Milan, this is a significant boost, as Amorim’s system relies heavily on a dynamic midfielder like Rabiot to connect defense and attack.

The rumors had gained traction amid reports of interest from other European clubs, but Veronique Rabiot’s intervention has effectively shut them down. She has a history of being a tough negotiator, but in this case, her message is one of stability. Milan fans can breathe easy knowing that one of their key players is not looking for an exit. With Amorim’s arrival, the club is poised for a new era, and retaining Rabiot is a crucial step. His ability to dictate tempo, break up play, and contribute offensively makes him irreplaceable in the short term.

In conclusion, AC Milan has received the reassurance they needed: Rabiot is staying put. The combination of his World Cup focus and his agent’s clear statements has ended the speculation for now. As the summer transfer window approaches, the Rossoneri can concentrate on other areas of the squad, confident that their midfield maestro will be leading the charge next season.
