Rabiot Fires Warning: France Unafraid Ahead of World Cup Semi-Final Against Spain

FolioPitch.com – 14 July 2026 | In the high-stakes atmosphere of a World Cup semi-final, French midfielder Adrien Rabiot has made a bold declaration: Rabiot ready ahead of World Cup semi-final showdown We re not afraid of anyone. The AC Milan star spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport ahead of tonight’s clash in Dallas, where France will face a formidable Spanish side that has conceded just one goal in the tournament.

Rabiot, who has started every match except the Norway game, exudes confidence. ‘Honestly, we’re not afraid of anyone. Given the path we’re taking in this World Championship, given the conditions we’re in, it’s clear that everything is very open,’ he said. The statement underscores a team that has grown in cohesion and belief, determined to reach a third consecutive World Cup final.

The Spanish team, led by teenage sensation Lamine Yamal, has been impressive, but Rabiot insists France have no special plan to stop individuals. ‘No, nothing specifically designed for him. We know Spain well and we know how strong they are. They’re dangerous at every level… For our part, we’re focused and attentive to the Spanish team, not the individual players.’

France have lost their last two semi-finals to Spain (Euro 2024 and Nations League), but Rabiot dismisses any psychological burden. ‘Nothing, nothing. We’ll see how it goes. What’s certain is that we’re focused and prepared. I repeat, we’re confident about what we’ve done and demonstrated so far.’ The midfielder emphasized the team’s humility and unity, citing ‘chemistry’ and ‘osmosis’ as key factors behind their success.

Rabiot ready ahead of World Cup semi-final showdown We re not afraid of anyone also highlighted the role of coach Didier Deschamps, who is in his last tournament with the squad. ‘Exactly. All the more reason to give it our all. So many aspects came together, aligned, and created a true osmosis within us.’ Deschamps’ leadership, coupled with family issues he faced, has reportedly brought the team closer.

France’s playing style has evolved since the 2022 World Cup, with greater communication and self-analysis among players. ‘We talk a lot among ourselves, in the hotel, on the flight, during break times. We try to analyse the matches in small groups, and these are important things that complement whatever the coach or the technical staff can tell us,’ Rabiot explained.

Off the pitch, Rabiot’s future seems settled. His mother and agent has reportedly told Rai that she does not envisage him leaving Milan before 2026-27, a boost for coach Ruben Amorim. For now, all attention is on the semi-final.

The match kicks off at 21:00 CEST in Dallas, with France aiming to book their place in the final. As Rabiot confidently stated, Rabiot ready ahead of World Cup semi-final showdown We re not afraid of anyone encapsulates the spirit of a team that believes in its collective strength. With a blend of experience and young talent, France are poised to challenge Spain’s dominance. The world will watch to see if their confidence translates into victory.

In conclusion, the French squad, led by Rabiot’s unyielding mindset, enters the semi-final with no fear. Their journey has been marked by resilience and unity, and they are determined to overcome the hurdle of Spain.
