Standard Liege vs Juventus Confirmed pre-season friendly line-ups: A New Beginning for the Bianconeri

FolioPitch.com – 25 July 2026 | The Standard Liege vs Juventus Confirmed pre-season friendly line-ups have been announced, and it’s an exciting time for the Bianconeri as they prepare to take on Standard Liege in Belgium. The match is scheduled to take place at 19.00 BST, and it will be Luciano Spalletti‘s first real test of pre-season. However, the team is still without a core group of key players, many of whom are either on holiday or have not yet returned to full fitness.

The absence of Gleison Bremer, Khephren Thuram, Kenan Yildiz, Francisco Conceicao, and Jonathan David has left Spalletti with limited options. In fact, reports earlier this week claimed that Spalletti feels he has only had three or four ‘starters’ available to him in the early stages of pre-season, and the coach is beginning to become slightly frustrated at the lack of reinforcements available to him.

Despite the challenges, the Standard Liege vs Juventus Confirmed pre-season friendly line-ups offer an opportunity for some of the younger players to shine. Lois Openda, who is on the verge of signing for Lyon on a season-long loan deal, has been included in the matchday squad, but he has not been named in the starting line-up. Instead, 18-year-old centre-forward Arman Durmisi will have the chance to impress.

The starting line-up for Juventus features Vasilije Adzic and Jeremie Boga lining up behind Durmisi in attack, with a midfield pairing of Douglas Luiz and Manuel Locatelli. Andrea Cambiaso and youngster Adin Licina have been selected at wing-back, with an established back three of Pierre Kalulu, Federico Gatti, and Lloyd Kelly.

The Standard Liege vs Juventus Confirmed pre-season friendly line-ups are an exciting prospect for fans, and it will be interesting to see how the team performs without some of its key players. The match is an opportunity for the younger players to step up and show what they can do, and it will be a valuable learning experience for them.
