Bremer Commits to Juventus, Shattering Transfer Speculation

FolioPitch.com – 08 August 2026 | Gleison Bremer has put an end to the ongoing transfer speculation surrounding his future at Juventus. The Brazilian defender has categorically stated that he never asked to leave the Italian club, reiterating his commitment to help Juventus regain its former glory.

Bremer’s comments come after a summer of uncertainty, with various reports suggesting that the center-back was looking to leave the club. However, in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, via TuttoMercatoWeb, Bremer clarified his intentions and addressed the rumors head-on.

‘I’m fine. Obviously, I’m not at my best yet, since I started my preparation later,’ Bremer said. ‘But I feel I’ll be back in condition soon, and I feel the squad is right.’

Bremer was also keen to put his earlier comments, which sparked concerns about Juventus’ ambition, into context. The defender had stated that the club could not settle for fighting over fourth place, but Bremer clarified that his words were not meant as an excuse to leave.

‘I like to clarify this point. I didn’t say those things because I was looking for an excuse to leave,’ Bremer explained. ‘If anything, I was trying to express my ambition: I’m not content to end my career with a Coppa Italia on the shelf. I want more, and I want Juventus to return to the level they belong at.’

On his own future, Bremer was unequivocal in his commitment to the club. ‘I have not asked Juventus to sell me. Especially at a difficult moment, for the club and for me, it would never cross my mind, it would be like running away,’ he said.

Bremer’s statement has likely put an end to the transfer rumors surrounding him, and the defender will now focus on helping Juventus regain its former glory. With the club still a little way off from its target, Bremer’s commitment will be crucial in driving the team forward.

In the meantime, Juventus is working on strengthening its squad, with the arrival of new players such as Kolo Muani and Alajbegović. Bremer is also betting on the quality of Douglas Luiz, who has joined the club and is expected to make a significant impact.

As Juventus embarks on its new campaign, Bremer’s commitment will be a vital factor in the team’s success. With his ambition and dedication, the defender will play a key role in helping the club return to its former glory.

Conclusion: Bremer’s statement has put an end to the transfer speculation surrounding his future at Juventus. The defender’s commitment to the club is a significant boost for Juventus, and his dedication will be crucial in driving the team forward.
