Amorim Unveils Ambitious AC Milan Project Under Cardinale’s Guidance

FolioPitch.com – 17 August 2026 | Ruben Amorim, the current AC Milan coach, has been at the helm of the team since the summer transfer window, and his approach to recruitment has been notable. In a recent interview, Amorim explained how he is working with Cardinale to shape the Milan project, and his vision for the club’s future. According to Amorim, the Milan project is centered around building a strong squad that can compete at the highest level, both now and in the future.

Amorim’s approach has been to sign players who can make an immediate impact, while also investing in the long-term future of the club. The signing of Goncalo Ramos, for example, has been seen as a shrewd move, as he can lead the team until other young players, such as Francesco Camarda, are ready to take over. Mario Gila‘s arrival has also bolstered the defense, making it one of the strongest in Serie A.

However, Amorim is not satisfied with just these two signings, and has outlined his plans to sign four more players to solidify the squad. A central defender is high on his wishlist, but he also sees other areas of the pitch where reinforcements are needed. Amorim has emphasized the importance of building a strong squad, rather than just focusing on one or two players.

Amorim’s comments come after a recent win against Manchester United, which has given the team a boost in confidence. He has clarified his mercato demands and how the club operates, stating that they will do what is best for the club, both now and in the future. Cardinale’s presence at Milanello has also been highlighted as a key factor in the club’s success, with Amorim crediting the owner for his support and guidance.

Amorim’s approach has been a departure from the club’s previous recruitment strategy, which focused on signing players for the future, rather than the present. The current crop of players has shown promise, and Amorim’s plan to sign more players will give the team a much-needed boost. As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see how Amorim’s Milan project unfolds.

In conclusion, Amorim’s Milan project is centered around building a strong squad that can compete at the highest level, both now and in the future. His approach has been to sign players who can make an immediate impact, while also investing in the long-term future of the club. With Cardinale’s support and guidance, Amorim is confident that the Milan project will be a success.
