In a recent press conference, Amorim discussed the team’s objective, pointing out that they have a squad capable of winning every match, regardless of the competition. He emphasized that every single game is crucial, and the team must take it one step at a time to achieve something important.

Amorim’s words were centered around the Scudetto aim, which he believes is achievable if the team focuses on every match. He acknowledged that reaching the Champions League is crucial for the club’s financial aspect and prestige. However, his primary goal remains winning every match, in every competition, and he is confident that the team can achieve this with the right mindset and strategy.

When asked about the upcoming game against Chelsea, Amorim expressed his expectations from the team, focusing on set pieces, physical conditioning, and individual duels. He recognized that English football is different from Italian football, and the team will face a more physically demanding challenge. Amorim aims to use this game as an opportunity to test the team’s abilities, particularly in one-on-one situations, and to put some players in positions to continue playing well even when tired.

Amorim also touched on the comparison with Xabi Alonso, the new coach of the team. He praised Alonso’s coaching skills, acknowledging that they share some similarities, having both faced difficulties in their previous jobs. Amorim expressed his desire to help his players and the club succeed, and he is focused on making the right decisions to achieve this goal.

Regarding the team’s lineup for the Chelsea game, Amorim announced that Leao, Modric, and Ramos will play more than in the first match. He plans to field two balanced lineups, with some players playing 60 minutes and others, like Leao and Modric, playing 45 minutes due to their workload.

In conclusion, Amorim’s vision for AC Milan is centered around achieving the Scudetto aim, focusing on every match, and making improvements in various areas. He is confident in the team’s abilities and is working tirelessly to make the right decisions to achieve success. The upcoming game against Chelsea will be a test of the team’s abilities, and Amorim is eager to see the team perform well.
