GdS A night at Milanello: Cardinale’s immersion into AC Milan’s world

FolioPitch.com – 26 July 2026 | Gerry Cardinale, the American owner of AC Milan, has been making headlines with his intense involvement in the team’s affairs. The latest development in this saga is his decision to spend a night at the club’s training ground, Milanello, mirroring the actions of the team’s most successful president, Silvio Berlusconi. According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cardinale arrived in Italy from Los Angeles on Thursday morning and headed straight to Milanello, where he watched the players from the sidelines during their morning session. He then had lunch with coach Ruben Amorim, with whom he had a transfer market meeting. The focus of the meeting was on upcoming incoming moves, including the acquisition of an attacking midfielder and another centre-back, as well as outgoing negotiations. The meeting was also attended by Hendrik Almstadt, Bobby Gardiner, Jovan Kirovski, and Donato Lomonte, who are now part of the management team. Cardinale stayed at Milanello all afternoon, making phone calls and chatting with his managers, before having dinner and some TV time. He then slept in the room reserved for the club’s owner, a move that has sparked interest and admiration from fans and pundits alike. Cardinale’s actions are a testament to his passion and commitment to the team, and his willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the club’s success. His decision to spend a night at Milanello, just like Berlusconi before him, is a clear indication of his desire to be fully immersed in the team’s world and to make every minute count when it comes to planning for the future. As the team prepares for their tour in Australia and Indonesia, Cardinale’s presence and involvement will undoubtedly play a crucial role in their success.

The American owner’s passion and involvement in AC Milan’s affairs have certainly grown exponentially since his arrival on May 25th. He has changed a lot in two months, and at this rate, he will change even more in the coming weeks. His goal is clear: to win, and he will do everything in his power to achieve it. Cardinale’s actions are a breath of fresh air for the team, and his commitment to the club’s success is a welcome change from the previous regime. As AC Milan fans, we can only hope that Cardinale’s passion and dedication will translate into success on the pitch.
