Europa League Line-ups RB Salzburg vs Milan: Camarda Starts as Amorim Rings Changes

FolioPitch.com – 15 October 2026 | Milan travel to the Red Bull Arena to face RB Salzburg in a crucial Europa League clash, and the Europa League line-ups RB Salzburg vs Milan reveal a heavily rotated Rossoneri side. Coach Ruben Amorim has made sweeping changes, handing 18-year-old Francesco Camarda his first start of the season, while Adrien Rabiot and Omari Hutchinson also come into the XI. The pressure is already mounting on Milan after a disastrous 2-0 home defeat to Benfica on Matchday 1, and Amorim knows his side cannot afford another slip-up in Austria.

The Europa League line-ups RB Salzburg vs Milan show a Milan back four of Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic, Bartesaghi, with Jashari and Rabiot anchoring midfield. Hutchinson, Loftus-Cheek, and Cisse support lone striker Camarda. Key men Luka Modric, Goncalo Ramos, and Mario Gila are rested ahead of the weekend Serie A trip to Atalanta, while long-term absentees Alexis Saelemaekers, Matteo Gabbia, and Pietro Terracciano remain unavailable.

Salzburg, unbeaten in five UEFA games this season with four wins and a draw, start with Zawieschitzky; Morgalla, Boma, Zabransky, Schmid; Barry, Mazurek; Baidoo, Kitano, Lindstrom; Tabakovic. The Austrians have kept three consecutive clean sheets and will look to Jesper Lindstrom, on loan from Napoli, to unlock the Milan defence. Goalkeeper Zawieschitzky has recovered from an adductor issue, but Justin Omoregie, Nikolas Veratschnig, Damir Redzic, Enrique Aguilar, and Soumaila Diabaté miss out.

These teams have met four times before, with Milan winning three and drawing one. However, Salzburg’s current form and Milan’s early wobble make this a tricky proposition. The Europa League line-ups RB Salzburg vs Milan suggest Amorim is balancing rotation with the need for a result, and the inclusion of Camarda adds a fresh attacking dimension.

Milan’s bench offers plenty of firepower, with the likes of Pulisic, Modric, and Goncalo Ramos ready to make an impact if needed. Salzburg’s bench includes Mellberg, Tohumcu, and Vertessen, providing options for coach Gerhard Struber. The match kicks off at 17:45 UK time (18:45 CEST) at the Red Bull Arena, with referee Fesnic (ROU) in charge.

As the Europa League line-ups RB Salzburg vs Milan confirm, this is a game of contrasting fortunes. Salzburg are flying high, while Milan are desperate to avoid a second consecutive group-stage defeat. Amorim’s decision to rotate heavily could backfire if the young guns fail to deliver, but it also signals faith in the squad’s depth. Camarda, in particular, has a golden opportunity to prove he belongs on the European stage.

In conclusion, the Europa League line-ups RB Salzburg vs Milan set the stage for a fascinating encounter. Milan’s pressure is palpable, and Salzburg’s unbeaten run adds intrigue. With key players rested and youngsters given a chance, Amorim’s gamble will be under scrutiny. A positive result is essential to keep Milan’s Europa League hopes alive, while Salzburg aim to continue their impressive European form. Football fans can expect a tactical battle full of intensity and drama.
