The headline news coming out of Appiano Gentile is that Aleksandar Stanković is set to make his Inter debut as a starter. The young midfielder, who joined from Club Brugge, has impressed in training and is expected to fill the void left by the injured Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who is available but not fully fit. Multiple sources, including Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport, confirm Stanković will anchor the midfield in a 3-5-2 formation.

Inter manager Simone Inzaghi faces several selection dilemmas. The Nerazzurri are without Englishmen John Stones and Curtis Jones, but Djed Spence is available for the first time this season. Uncertainty remains over the attacking line, with captain Lautaro Martínez returning from international duty. Gazzetta and Sky Sport report that Lautaro will start up front alongside Marcus Thuram, while Corriere dello Sport claims the Argentine will be left on the bench. This decision could significantly impact the Serie A Inter vs Parma probable line-ups where to watch on TV narrative, as Lautaro’s presence is always a game-changer.

In defense, Yann Sommer is expected to start in goal, with Benjamin Pavard, Yann Bisseck, and Carlos Augusto forming the back three. Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco will operate as wing-backs, providing width and attacking thrust. The midfield trio likely consists of Nicolò Barella, Aleksandar Stanković, and Piotr Zieliński, who will look to control the tempo and supply the forwards.

For Parma, all eyes are on new head coach Alberto Gilardino, who makes his debut after replacing Carlos Cuesta during the international break. The former Parma and Milan striker has been tasked with turning around the club’s fortunes. Adrian Bernabé returns from injury and, according to Sky, is expected to start in central midfield. In attack, David Romero will get the nod, while El Bilal Touré and Simone Lontani compete for the other starting spot. The probable Parma XI (3-5-2) is: Corvi; Delprato, Diego Carlos, Drobnic; Britschgi, Sierro, Keita, Bernabé, Valeri; Touré, Romero.

Inter’s probable line-up (3-5-2): J. Martinez; Pavard, Bisseck, Carlos Augusto; Diouf, Barella, A. Stankovic, Zielinski, Dimarco; Lautaro Martinez, Thuram.

This match is crucial for both sides. Inter are looking to keep pace with the Serie A leaders and maintain their title challenge. Parma, on the other hand, are desperate for points to climb away from the relegation zone. The tactical battle between Inzaghi and Gilardino will be fascinating, with the latter eager to make an immediate impact.
