Amorim Eyes Reunion with Man Utd Star Amad Diallo as AC Milan Prepares Bid

FolioPitch.com – 17 July 2026 | Manchester United winger Amad Diallo is at the center of transfer speculation as AC Milan, under former Red Devils manager Ruben Amorim, prepares a bid. The situation, detailed in a report from CaughtOffside Amorim seeking reunion with Man Utd star as Milan prepare bid the situation, highlights the strong connection between the player and his former coach. According to the source, Amorim views Diallo as a priority target for the Serie A giants, reigniting a partnership that flourished during their time together at Old Trafford.

The report, which focuses on the CaughtOffside Amorim seeking reunion with Man Utd star as Milan prepare bid the situation, indicates that Milan is ready to test Manchester United’s resolve. The Rossoneri are assembling a financially controlled proposal, aiming to avoid an astronomical fee. However, United holds significant leverage, as Diallo signed a contract extension in January 2025, keeping him at the club until 2030. The club’s stance is clear: they will only entertain offers if Diallo pushes for a move or receives an irresistible bid.

Diallo, who turned 24 this year, has been a versatile asset for United, capable of playing behind the striker or as a wing-back. His adaptability fits perfectly into Amorim’s preferred 3-4-2-1 formation, a system in which Diallo thrived during the Portuguese’s tenure. This compatibility is a key reason why Amorim is so eager to bring him to Milan, as detailed in the CaughtOffside Amorim seeking reunion with Man Utd star as Milan prepare bid the situation.

Interest in Diallo is not limited to Milan. Premier League sides Brighton and Newcastle are also monitoring the Ivorian’s situation. Nevertheless, the personal relationship between Amorim and Diallo could give Milan an edge in negotiations. The prospect of returning to Italy, where Diallo previously played for Atalanta, and securing a central role under a trusted coach may be tempting for the player.

Manchester United’s management, including coach Michael Carrick, who is a known admirer of Diallo’s versatility, remains firm in their desire to retain him. However, the club acknowledges that every player has a price, and if Milan’s bid reaches a level that cannot be ignored, a transfer could materialize. The coming weeks will be crucial as Milan prepares to formalize their interest.

In conclusion, the CaughtOffside Amorim seeking reunion with Man Utd star as Milan prepare bid the situation is a developing story that underscores the dynamic nature of football transfers. While United is reluctant to sell, the pull of a reunion with Amorim and a leading role at a historic club like Milan may prove irresistible for Diallo. Fans on both sides will watch closely as the saga unfolds, with the potential for a significant move in the upcoming transfer window.
