Manchester United’s Michael Carrick Sets Sights on Juventus Winger Francisco Conceicao

FolioPitch.com – 31 July 2026 | Report Carrick interested in bringing Juventus winger Conceicao to Man United has emerged from Italian media, with the Manchester United head coach reportedly eager to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the new season. According to TuttoJuve, the Premier League giants view Conceicao as an ideal addition to their squad, with Carrick particularly impressed by the winger’s speed, versatility, and ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations.

Conceicao, 23, has spent the past two seasons at Juventus, initially on loan from Porto before making the move permanent last summer in a deal worth €32 million including bonuses and add-ons. During the 2024-25 Serie A campaign, he contributed three goals and four assists, while in the 2026-27 season he improved those numbers to three goals and five assists. The Portuguese international was also part of his national team’s squad for the 2026 World Cup, showcasing his growing reputation on the international stage.

The report Carrick interested in bringing Juventus winger Conceicao to Man United suggests that the United boss is keen on adding another wide player to his ranks. Carrick’s appreciation for Conceicao’s ability to play on either flank is seen as a key factor in the club’s interest, as the former midfielder looks to build a dynamic and flexible attacking unit at Old Trafford. United’s recruitment team is believed to have been monitoring Conceicao for some time, and the Italian reports indicate that they are now ready to make a move.

Despite United’s interest, Juventus are reportedly reluctant to part ways with the 23-year-old. The Bianconeri are said to be keen on keeping Conceicao in Turin as they prepare for the 2026-27 season, even after completing the signing of Kerim Alajbegovic. Juventus see Conceicao as a key part of their future plans, and any potential departure would likely require a substantial offer.

According to Thursday’s report, Juventus would consider selling Conceicao this summer if an offer of around €50 million were to arrive. That valuation reflects the winger’s potential and his contributions to the team since arriving in Italy. While €50 million is a significant sum, Manchester United have shown in recent transfer windows that they are willing to invest heavily in players who fit Carrick’s vision.

The report Carrick interested in bringing Juventus winger Conceicao to Man United also highlights how the potential move could impact United’s squad dynamics. With the club looking to compete for major honors both domestically and in Europe, adding a player of Conceicao’s caliber would provide Carrick with more options in the final third. His pace and directness could be particularly valuable in transition, a style that United have looked to implement under their current head coach.

For Conceicao, a move to the Premier League would represent a new challenge in his career. Having already experienced football in Portugal and Italy, the 23-year-old could be tempted by the prospect of playing in England’s top flight. However, he remains under contract with Juventus, and any decision will likely depend on the clubs reaching an agreement on a transfer fee.

As the summer transfer window approaches, the report Carrick interested in bringing Juventus winger Conceicao to Man United is likely to gain more traction. United fans will be eager to see if the club can secure the signing of a player who has shown flashes of brilliance in Serie A. With Juventus holding a strong negotiating position, it remains to be seen whether United will meet their valuation or explore alternative targets.

In conclusion, the prospect of Francisco Conceicao joining Manchester United is an intriguing one. Carrick’s admiration for the player’s attributes, combined with United’s need for attacking reinforcements, makes this a transfer story worth monitoring in the coming weeks. Whether the move materializes or not, the report Carrick interested in bringing Juventus winger Conceicao to Man United has certainly captured the attention of football fans across Europe.
