The Rossoneri, who have already secured the signing of Mario Gila, are not done reinforcing their backline. Sporting CP’s Goncalo Inacio has emerged as the top defensive target, with head coach Ruben Amorim pushing for a reunion with his former player.

The report states that O Jogo Milan remain hot on the trail of Inacio with Amorim’s wishes clear the situation, indicating that the club’s hierarchy is aligned with the coach’s vision.

Inacio’s release clause stands at €60 million, but negotiations could lower the fee. Inacio’s age and potential make him a long-term investment, while his experience at Sporting and for Portugal’s youth teams ensures immediate readiness.

The pursuit of Inacio signals a clear strategy: build a defense that can dominate both physically and technically. With Gila’s athleticism and Pavlovic’s aggression, Inacio’s calm distribution would round out a balanced backline.
