Milan Transfer Plan: GdS Pairing with Ramos Possible – How Tresoldi Could Be Used by Amorim

FolioPitch.com – 17 October 2026 | AC Milan’s pursuit of a new striker has dominated the headlines, but the latest report from Gazzetta dello Sport (GdS) suggests a clear vision: GdS Pairing with Ramos possible how Tresoldi could be used by Amorim s Milan is the central theme of the club’s attacking rebuild. The plan involves signing Club Brugge’s Nicolo Tresoldi to complement Goncalo Ramos and nurture Francesco Camarda, creating a formidable attacking unit at San Siro.

According to the Italian outlet, Milan’s management, led by Gerry Cardinale, is desperate to land Tresoldi, viewing him as a rare market opportunity rather than a threat to Camarda’s development. The idea is to provide the young Italian with the right amount of playing time without forcing his growth, while also giving coach Ruben Amorim the tactical flexibility to deploy a front two. Indeed, GdS Pairing with Ramos possible how Tresoldi could be used by Amorim s Milan highlights how the Portuguese coach could benefit from having multiple striking options.

Camarda, once seen as the gem of Milan’s future, has found minutes hard to come by this season. Amorim kept him in the first team as backup to Ramos, but the youngster has done little backup work, with appearances limited to fleeting cameos. The arrival of Tresoldi could further complicate his path, yet the report insists it would actually help Camarda by allowing him to develop at his own pace rather than being thrust into the spotlight prematurely.

The tactical implications are significant. Amorim has already experimented with a 4-2-3-1 formation featuring a more advanced No.10, and the possibility of switching to a front two remains open. With Ramos, Tresoldi, and Camarda at his disposal, the coach would have a luxury of riches that few top clubs can boast. GdS Pairing with Ramos possible how Tresoldi could be used by Amorim s Milan suggests that the trio could be rotated effectively, ensuring freshness and competition for places.

From a strategic standpoint, Cardinale’s ambition to restore Milan to the elite of European football is clear. Signing big-name players like Tresoldi and Ramos signals intent, echoing the glory days of Silvio Berlusconi’s reign. The report notes that the interest in Tresoldi is not a sign of distrust in Camarda but rather a calculated move to build a squad capable of competing on multiple fronts.

However, questions remain about how Amorim would manage the egos and expectations of three strikers. Ramos, as the established starter, would likely command the majority of minutes, while Tresoldi’s versatility could see him feature both centrally and in support. Camarda, meanwhile, would need to seize his opportunities in cup competitions and as a substitute. The key, as GdS Pairing with Ramos possible how Tresoldi could be used by Amorim s Milan points out, is to avoid forcing minutes and instead create a natural progression for the young Italian.

Milan’s summer transfer strategy will be closely watched, with Tresoldi’s signature potentially triggering a domino effect. If the Rossoneri can secure the Club Brugge striker, they would not only strengthen their attack but also send a statement of intent to their rivals. For now, the plan remains speculative, but the vision is clear: a Milan attack built around Ramos, supported by Tresoldi, and with Camarda waiting in the wings.

In conclusion, the potential arrival of Nicolo Tresoldi represents a bold step in Milan’s rebuild under Ruben Amorim. While it may raise eyebrows regarding Camarda’s future, the club believes it is a necessary move to compete at the highest level. As GdS Pairing with Ramos possible how Tresoldi could be used by Amorim s Milan indicates, the attacking trio could be a luxury that propels Milan back to greatness.
