Napoli Submit €10m Bid for Boca Juniors’ Exequiel Zeballos

FolioPitch.com – 15 July 2026 | Napoli have officially sent their first formal offer to Boca Juniors for Exequiel Zeballos, with the bid valued at just under €10m. This move, widely reported by transfer pundits including Fabrizio Romano and Alfredo Pedullà, marks a significant step in the transfer saga. The Partenopei have been tracking the Argentine winger for months, and personal terms were already agreed in May, according to TyC Sports. The offer, worth approximately $10m (just under €10m), fits within Napoli’s valuation and demonstrates their serious intent to secure the player.

The key detail in this negotiation is the contract situation at Boca Juniors. Zeballos’ current deal expires on December 31, 2026, which significantly reduces the club’s leverage. While there is a release clause of €14.5m, the short remaining term means Boca will likely accept a lower fee rather than risk losing the player for free in six months. This context makes Napoli’s offer compelling, as it provides immediate value while respecting the player’s desire to move.

Zeballos, primarily a right winger in a trident attack but capable of playing on the left or as a centre-forward, has been a key target for Napoli manager Antonio Conte. The 24-year-old Argentine’s versatility and technical ability align well with the Serie A side’s tactical needs. Moreover, Zeballos has publicly expressed his admiration for Diego Maradona, with Napoli’s stadium named after the Argentine legend, further fueling his desire to join the club. He turned down a lucrative contract extension from Boca to push for this transfer.

The Napoli send first Zeballos offer to Boca Juniors just under 10m is now a reality, with sources confirming the bid has been submitted. The deal is expected to progress quickly, as Zeballos has already agreed to a long-term contract with Napoli. The next steps involve Boca’s response, but given the player’s commitment and the reasonable offer, a final agreement is likely within days.

This transfer represents a strategic move for Napoli, who are looking to strengthen their attacking options for the upcoming season. Zeballos’ pace and dribbling ability would add depth to a frontline that already includes Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen. The Napoli send first Zeballos offer to Boca Juniors just under 10m could be the catalyst for a busy summer at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

In conclusion, the pursuit of Zeballos highlights Napoli’s aggressive approach to the transfer market. With personal terms settled and a formal offer now on the table, the move is firmly on track. The Napoli send first Zeballos offer to Boca Juniors just under 10m underscores their determination to bring the Argentine talent to Serie A. All signs point to a swift resolution, with Zeballos expected to join Napoli before the end of the month.
