Nuno Tavares Deletes All Lazio Posts as Suitor Prepares Late-Summer Onslaught: A Transfer Saga Unfolds

FolioPitch.com – 16 August 2026 | Nuno Tavares Deletes All Lazio Posts as Suitor Prepares Late-Summer Onslaught has been making headlines in the football world, and for good reason. The 26-year-old Portuguese full-back, who has been playing for Lazio since 2024, has been at the center of a transfer speculation storm. The latest development in this saga has seen Tavares delete all his Lazio-related posts from his Instagram account, leaving fans and pundits alike wondering what this could mean for his future at the club.

The Background of this situation is complex, with Tavares having enjoyed a stellar start to his Lazio stint before being hampered by injuries. Last season, he was omitted from Maurizio Sarri’s starting lineup after making costly blunders, only to be restored later in the campaign. This summer, the Biancocelesti acquired the services of Alfonso Pedraza on a free transfer, which has further complicated Tavares’ situation.

Nuno Tavares Deletes All Lazio Posts as Suitor Prepares Late-Summer Onslaught is not just a simple case of a player being unhappy with his role in the team. It is a multifaceted issue that involves the club’s transfer strategy, the player’s market value, and the interests of potential suitors. As noted by several sources, including La Lazio Siamo Noi, Tavares’ decision to delete his Lazio posts could be a sign of dissatisfaction with his status at the club, or a come-and-get-me plea to his suitors.

Porto, the Portuguese giants, have been linked with Tavares on several occasions this summer, and it seems they are preparing a late-summer onslaught to sign the player. Italian football journalist Matteo Moretto has reported that Porto are still eyeing a move for Tavares, and with the player’s market value estimated at €15-20 million, it could be a financially rewarding deal for Lazio. However, Arsenal would receive a 35% sell-on fee, which could complicate negotiations.

Nuno Tavares Deletes All Lazio Posts as Suitor Prepares Late-Summer Onslaught has also raised questions about the future of Luca Pellegrini, another left-back at Lazio. The Biancocelesti will be expected to offload either Tavares or Pellegrini before the end of the summer, as they cannot afford to keep three left-backs in the squad, especially after failing to qualify for Europe. While Pellegrini’s contract will expire next year, Tavares’ exit could be more financially rewarding for the club.

In conclusion, Nuno Tavares Deletes All Lazio Posts as Suitor Prepares Late-Summer Onslaught is a transfer saga that is unfolding rapidly. With Porto preparing a late-summer onslaught to sign the player, it remains to be seen how this situation will play out. One thing is certain, however: Tavares’ future at Lazio is uncertain, and the coming weeks will be crucial in determining his next move.
