Zeballos Closer to Napoli Move as Agent Meets Director Manna

FolioPitch.com – 11 July 2026 | The Zeballos agent meets Napoli as contract details revealed saga has taken a decisive step forward, with Corriere dello Sport confirming that Napoli have secured an agreement with Boca Juniors winger Exequiel Zeballos. The Argentine’s agent met Napoli director Giovanni Manna in Naples earlier this week to finalize personal terms, solidifying the move that has been rumored for months.

The Zeballos agent meets Napoli as contract details revealed meeting saw the player’s representative discuss a four-year deal worth €1.3 million per season. Zeballos, 24, has reportedly agreed to these terms and is eager to join the Serie A giants. The winger only wants Napoli and is willing to wait for an agreement between the two clubs.

According to the report, Zeballos has a €20 million release clause in his Boca Juniors contract, which runs until December 31, 2026. However, Napoli are unwilling to meet that figure, given the player’s contract is winding down. Instead, the Partenopei are hoping to negotiate a fee around €10 million. Pedullà reported that Napoli have already offered €10 million, while Tuttosport suggested an opening bid of €9 million.

The Zeballos agent meets Napoli as contract details revealed development comes as Boca Juniors have frozen Zeballos out of the team after he refused to sign a new contract. The Argentine club are now under pressure to sell before his value diminishes further. Napoli are optimistic that a deal can be struck in the coming weeks.

Zeballos, a left-footed winger known for his dribbling and pace, would add depth to Napoli’s attack. He has been a standout performer for Boca in the Copa Libertadores and domestic competitions. The move to Naples would reunite him with several compatriots, including Giovanni Simeone and Leo Ostigard.

As the Zeballos agent meets Napoli as contract details revealed story continues to unfold, all parties appear aligned. The player has agreed to terms, the agent has met with the director, and the only remaining hurdle is a transfer fee. With Boca unlikely to retain a player who has refused a contract extension, a deal for around €10 million seems inevitable.

In conclusion, the transfer of Exequiel Zeballos to Napoli is nearing completion. The winger’s agent meeting with Giovanni Manna has cleared the way for personal terms, and now the clubs must finalize the fee. Zeballos is determined to join Napoli, and the Serie A side are equally keen to secure his signature. This move could be finalized before the January transfer window closes.
